I think it would be a mistake to come up with solutions in which folks have
to disable or modifiy there firewalls. I don't think my employer is going to
open up the firewall just so I can play on my K2!!!
Thought about this quite a bit as I'd like to build this sytstem for my
home/work use. My recommendation is that virtually every network is open to
HTTP port 80. I would focus my energy on getting a sound channel
opened(bidirectional) and the K2 control channel, all through HTTP port 80.
That way the application would work through any firewall. Think about being
able to work your K2 from work!
