Yes - perhaps something that could actually be done between two rigs
via AuxBus to handle the "integration" of the second rig into the first - 
but like
an external controller of some sort, there would no doubt be the need for
some new remote control commands if done in firmware (as well as adding
support for them in commonly used logging programs), but this is probably a
far better route to achieve this than with some form of external controller 
done
by a third party which would then also require logging programs to know how
to drive the two-radio functions.

Wonder how viable this approach may be - any comments from Elecraft?
