[Elecraft] RE: ELECRAFT NET

Why argue about the time to hold a "net" like this and just keep it up =
24/7.  This time frame would satisfy everyone around the world and take =
care of all operating goals.  The U.S. hams wanting to work 100 K2's or =
WAS would be able to do it in daytime or nightime and the DX guys would =
be able to get on when they have insomnia, from anywhere in the world.

Net Control, if there is to be such a thing, could be passed to stations =
along the 'nightline', thus keeping it at the best spot for propogation. =
 Of course, this net would need to be constantly represented on more =
than one band and would need to be both CW and SSB to satisfy the =
operating pleasures of all elecraft owners. =20

Gets complicated, doesn't it????  Why not just designate a couple of =
calling frequencies on each band and let everybody call CQ K2  or CQ =
K1???  This would be much simpler.  KISS!
