Hi Doug,

The freebies/cheapies are ok to start out with. However if you get serious
(eg more than about 50 connection points) you will need something with good
functionality. I use EDS 3.1 Advance which is extemely functional,  has good
routing capability and includes copper pour which is nowadays almost
essential for minimising RF noise. It also has spice capability which I
admit I have not used much as I mostly do digital embedded controller stuff.
