[Elecraft] Using SPLIT on the K2

That's probably a good way to address the conflicting desires of the different
market segments that the K2 appeals to - a future product with an internal
sub-receiver would not necessarily be of interest to some, add cost to all,
perhaps not be so easy to implement in the current "modular" approach
(don't need 160, NB, SSB or a CW audio filter? - no problem!), result in a
bigger cabinet & weight for the backpacking crowd, etc, etc.

But I wouldn't be surprised if a "K3" or similar higher end product from
Elecraft would sell reasonably well - though I have no clue as to the
viability from their viewpoint.
