[Elecraft] Schematic design software?

Has anyone used an electronic circuit design software package?  I am =
mainly interested in being able to draw decent schematics, but have =
noted that there are several packages that seem able to emulate some =
circuitry.  I am relatively inexperienced and would like to learn more =
about solid state digital and analog circuits.  My latest electronic =
training was in 1968 where learned all about tube-based television =
circuits.  Not very useful today.  I was also thinking of buying one of =
those electronics trainers where you can do hundreds of experiments.  =
Thought it might be a good way to get exposed to the "new" stuff.  Does =
anyone have any thoughts on those?  Ramsey sells some nice ones. =

Building the K2 and K1 and a variety of the add-ons was a great =
experience and wetted my long-dormant appetite for experimenting with =
electronics.
