[Elecraft] k2 has gone QRO without any amp!

Hi all,

Here is a copy of an email I sent to Elecraft support.
If anyone has any ideas..I'm all ears.

I've owned K2 #1672 for the past 2+ years and it has worked great. The other
day I noticed the KIO2 stopped working. Trouble shooting showed the +5v line
was being pulled down to around 1+ vdc. I removed C12 and all voltages were
fine. I replaced C12 with a .1uf disc on hand and the KIO2 worked great
again and I patted myself on the back for a job well done......until I went
to transmit. Whenever I xmit, regardless of where the power pot is set to,
(even .1w) I get Hi Cur and the K2 is putting out over 18 watts into several
different watt meters and dummy loads.
I removed the KIO2..same problem. I reset the K2 (press 4,5,6 and power on)
same problem.
Where do I go from here? I want to get back to QRP levels again.Hi..
