I too prefer analog meters.  Better to see ("eyeball average") a varying
signal.  However, meters are not as common in component commerce, and one
small enough for the K2 has not been found in all my searching.  The closest
meters were some made back in the 70's but apparently from import companies
long gone.  I suppose, if you could find an old meter, and it was ever sold
by Radio Shack, then; you might be able to get engineering drawings or
license to get an Asian factory to tool up for a mass quantity.  But, other
than say a few hundred for K2's there is not much market out there, unless
you can sell a few to the tube audio market.  And there, they seem to prefer
meters in scale with the warm bottles and other tube era components.
