[Elecraft] K2 BFO L33 Upgrade - L33, BFO Drift, and SSBCarrier Suppression

OK Gang,

Did I understand something 'backwards'?
I seem to recall that the frequency stability of the K2 with the selonoidal
coil for L33 was better than the toroid version. -- but then my memory gets
hazy sometimes.  If so, why would one want to change to the toroid version?

As far as serial numbers for the older soloniodal L33 and the toroid
version - I do know that both serial number 20 and ser no. 779 have the
soloniodal coil for L33.
