[Elecraft] KPA100 Current Drain

Would someone who has built the KPA100 please tell me, in their opinion, =
if there is cause for concern if my KPA100 only draws an additional 80ma =
(at 13.1 VDC) when it is it is at the construction stage of having been =
connected to the K2 for the first time (KPA100 Manual P22).  The manual =
says to expect 100-200 ma above and beyond the normal idle RX current =
(which on my K2, with all the options except SSB, is 0.028A). All KPA100 =
test point voltages on P23 of the manual check out, although U1 Pins 7 =
and 13-15 are right at 0 VDC.

Stated another way, should I be looking for a problem here or should I =
simply press on into the wonderful world of toroid winding on the =
assumption that I just happen to have an efficient rig?
