[Elecraft] Attic Antenna Tradeoff?

Hi gang,

A while back I read an article where the author was building a new home
and it seems that that he was able to use the concrete reinforcement bars
("re-bars"??) in his patio, or building slab as a ground system, perhaps to
use as radials for a vertical. I'm not sure if this practical but its food
for thought.
