[Elecraft] K2 BFO L33 Upgrade - L33, BFO Drift, and SSB Carrier Suppression

Greetings!
     I just noticed that there is a VFO upgrade kit available now along with 
other modifications.  I think Larrry East W1HUE did some initial testing 
about a year ago on this.  I never did like taking my K2 out into the field 
because the bottom part of the case gets flexed & causes more drift than 
setting on a desktop.  I think this is caused by the very close quarters 
between L33 and the bottom metal cover.  I think this modification is the 
answer to this problem. Am I correct??  
     I never did see any modification listed on any of the technical pages, 
eventhough this change is being made to new K2's.  Please enlighten me.
