[Elecraft] K1 - too much RF?

I was inattentive last nite, and am paying for it now!

I failed to turn off the K1 when I fired-up the "big
rig". I keyed the TS570 with the SB220 on and
instantly saw the LEDs on the K1 go hay-wire, etc. Of
course, I then turned it off. I recall this was on 20m
(both the big rig and the K1, but not sure on which
band the K1 was).

I went back to the K1 (after I worked the JT1 with the
TS570) on 20M and worked quite a lot of DX for the
next few hours. This morning, I got up early to see
what was on. I hear things fine on 20M, but no
signals hear on 40M, and no output whatsoever on 40M.
Thinking I might have scrambled its brain, I did a
hard reset (BAND + MENU at power-up), but that didn't
change things.

Anyone else willing to admit doing this... and where
might I start looking first for the source of the
problem? I haven't even cracked the case yet, but
wanna get it back on the air ASAP (after due penance
and multiple apologies to it, as I'm sure it
deserves!). Help pointing me in the right direction
would save me time.

Tnx, and meanwhile, off to the truck engine
rebuilding...
