Hello,

3 things that I know of that could majorly cut back your audio:

1. bad audio amp or hanging pin on it (might want to try the capacitor on it)
2. wires switched on speaker jack
3. Windings and appropriate wire sizes on all torroids.
I found that L33 on the RF board of my K2 needed to be rewound with #28 AWG wire instead of #26 AWG wire size. And that also all the other torroids after L33 in the book all through RFC3 were wound with #28 instead of #26.
Fixed the problem. Audio is now 4-5x the original.


If someone could add this to the Troubleshooting html page, it would be a great hint.
