[Elecraft] KSB2 problem

Here are some more details re: my KSB2 problem.

It's configured as 0.1W, SSBA=3, SSBC=2:1

The receive audio is excellent.

It's the tx audio which "warbles" and is quite distorted.

I've tried a Heil Pro-set and an Icom HM-36 hand mic (this one needs the
resistor +5v to AF) but they both sound the same.

U1-16 has the correct voltage on switch-on (6v) but it starts to reduce as I
transmit.  It then fluctuates before falling to 0v.

U2-6 does the same.

Anyone had a similar problem who can point me in the right direction?
