I went down the list of parts, and checked off each one against the list.
And then put those in a given bag back together.  The resistors are to be
left on the strips until called out in the instructions, just look at the
color codes with a hand magnifier and verify them.

Upon an assembly step, I check off when I have done the placement, and again
after soldering and double checking that I got the right parts in the right
holes.
One can do this with a red pencil for one and a blue pencil for the other,
etc.
Or do one as a dash mark, and one as check mark.
