I usually use AF gain at 9 o'clock, RF gain at max and have plenty of audio.
It's not scratchy either. Reducing RF gain generally means increasing audio
a tad - but nothing exceptional. My serial number is 2768 - not exactly one
of the earlier ones, huh?
