[Elecraft] Compaints about parts

To Any that are unhappy,

I am building my first Elecraft Kit.  I bought my K2 
(#2816) kit last month and have had nothing but a great 
experience with it.  

I performed a complete inventory of the kit and ALL the 
parts were correct and the kit was 100% complete.  I 
seem to notice that the individuals that say that they 
were missing parts do not mention that they followed the 
instructions and performed an inventory of the kit PRIOR 
to starting.  My guess would be if those builders were 
missing parts that there is a good change they lost them 
while building the kit and failing to prepare a proper 
building area.  Another chance is that they destroyed 
the part with sloppy building techniques and did not 
want to admit their mistakes.  What ever the cases may 
be all I can say is good things about Elecraft and they 
have maintained a 10 out 10 rating with me.  You have to 
admit anything that has as many pieces as a radio kit a 
mistake could be made.  To those of you who "say" that a 
mistake was made ask your selves this, "Did Elecraft 
take care of me?"  I would bet that the answer is "YES".

I have had to contact the Elecraft support individuals 
with questions and got a very fast and accurate answer 
every time.  I had arranged to pick up my kit in person 
while I was in the local area of Elecraft and their 
staff was great at having the kit ready and getting me 
directions to their location.  I have even had the 
opportunity to chat with Eric from Elecraft on the 
radio.  He was a very approachable and friendly guy to 
talk with.  I made certain that I made him fully aware 
of how happy I was with the K2.

Please do the right thing and before you broadcast you 
complaint to everyone think about how the experience is 
as a whole.  

I have never purchased any other product supported the 
way this K2 is.  No other product has come with support 
that is as easy as a phone call, email, or via radio.  
And no other product has every come with the proud 
following of owners that are willing to reach out and 
help you with what ever you need.

I have no other affiliation with Elecraft except that I 
am very satisfied that I purchased their product.
