Hi Earl,

Well...yes, the drift is a problem, and the skirts could be better.  My 'other'
radio is a TS850S with a pair of 400Hz Inrad filters. It is much more stable,
and has MUCH better IF filtering.  It also is more comfortable to operate split
and has a lot of features the K2 doesn't.  In so many ways, it's better.  This
was THE hot DX/contesting rig until the MP took the mantle.

Yet I always find myself using the K2, because it just hears the DX better,
especially on a noisy or crowded band.  That's the bottom line for me.
