You are right; the manual is not clear on this point. The manual is
assuming you are doing the Fan Test sequentially following the Power Supply
Test, in which case you would normally have the power control set above 11
watts (but need not, depending on how much playing around you did testing
what happens when the rig goes into by-pass mode). It would be good for
the manual to mention that, for the Fan Test, the PA parameter should be ON
and the power setting at 11 watts. The fan does not operate in by-pass
mode.
