George, it's in the article "The DX Prowess of HF Receivers" by SP7HT on
page 36 of the September/October issue. I've had my copy here in Oregon
for a week or two. 

It's a very interesting article because it is REALLY about the methods
used to characterize HF receivers. The authors thesis is that
manufacturers tend to use numbers that look good, instead of numbers
that reflect actual band conditions. The author evaluated several
receivers under more "normal" band conditions. Among them was the K2
which really shined under those conditions at the top of the group.

I have read a couple of postings about the performance of the K2 being
reported in QEX. The latest issue that I have received is the
July/August issue and it did not contain that article.

I would appreciate it if someone could tell me if the September/October
issue contains the performance comparisons that include the K2 and
approximately when that issue came out.
