[Elecraft] I keep burning up tips. What's wrong?

I was taught by my Elmer W5QN in 1945 when I worked in his radio shop. For
some time after I started work, he would inspect every repair job to check
the soldering. If he saw something he didn't like it was "do it over
again!"
Great guy! He started in 1914, worked nothing by CW his entire life and was
still active when he died at 101.
