I was in the process of directing you to DigiKey for Multicore, however I 
now see that Multicore is NO LONGER STOCKED by DigiKey!!! They now stock 
KESTER.

Could be. I always though it was to increase joint strength and 
(possibility) 'wettability'. But that was just a guess.
