[Elecraft] KPA100 - T2 Wire?

Confession is good for the soul, so here goes:

I'm in the middle of building the KPA100 and I accidentally cut the #18 =
teflon wire too short to wind T2.  (It was really late!)

Can I use #18 PVC insulated wire for T2 which is rated at 300V, or is =
the 600V rating of teflon critical here?  I think I know the answer.
