When aligned correctly, the signal will be at the same audio pitch as
your sidetone when you switch between CW and CWR.  You do not have to
move the the VFO.

If you follow the filter alignment procedure I posted a couple of months
ago (using Spectrogram and adjusting the narrowest bandwidths first), you
can't go wrong.
