[Elecraft] Even more L34 .....

Hi again,
              I received two Emails about my attempted adjustment of L34 
using the Spectrogram program and both asked if I had the AGC turned off.
Actually I did have it off, but it appears I should have been using the RF 
gain control to set the level on the screen, so I revisited the problem 
again and this time I did manage to see a slight alteration in the received 
signal levels, so I now have it set so the signal is near peak reading with 
the noise floor at it's lowest.
It sounds pretty good to me now, and one observation I have made is that I 
have barely enough receiver noise (with the antenna off) to show a filter 
shape  when using Spectrogram. The wide band RF noise generator is a must 
now if I want to have a decent look at the filters.
L34 is now a smidgeon under 2 turns down from the top.
