[Elecraft] Recommendations for Multimeters

Get a physically small one. I don't remember needing a high degree of
accuracy in the K2. No recommendation but that is what I would like to
have. I am tired of things that take up space. As far as leads, get clips
and probes, the more flexible the better. I like the clips that slip on the
probe but they are generally larger. Stay away from coiled cords (in m
opinion).

PC interface is nice but rarely used. Instead of spending the money on a PC
interface meter, spend the extra on a velleman PCS64i PC storage scope. I
have this along with a Tektronix 2465 and I use it more.

An analog meter is also very handy for peaking, nulling.

Subject: [Elecraft] Recommendations for Multimeters

Just getting back into electronics and thinking about building an K1 and if
the goes well I might try a K2 or have someone build it for me.

What is the best multimeter for building radio kits etc? I see a larger
variety than I had in the past. Anything special I should look for? PC
interface is this usefull or not?

Any help appreciated.

Glen
