[Elecraft] Re-Customs taxes etc

As a regular receiver of parcels from the USA (at least once a month) I have
been subjected to a very wide variety of charges from customs, wharehouse
owners, delivery companies etc. etc.

The officical channel ie: declared value and insured, seems to go via
Frankfurt, Germany. Guess the powers-that-be put up a giant clearing house
for all trans-continental parcels traffic there, and have issued stringent
instructions on levieing charges to pay for the costs.

My e-Bay parcels arrive without fuss and promptly as before, but I'm afraid
my KAT100 will cost me an additional $ / Euro 75 before it arrives on my
doorstep 4 weeks after Elecraft put it in the mail.

But then I will have a quality tuner !
