Now this has me thinking about a pedestrian counterpoise. How about an RF
ground wrapped in an innertube around your waste?

What are good sites to looking at pictures for antennas to be used during
portable pedestrian?

also during this past week for the rest of all of you I live in NC...

I made contact via SSB on Sunday at 8pm with 15W on 40m band to Illinois
when I found out that my RF was not making it out because I had used a
magnet wire to connect the whip of my hamstick and to ground. Well removed
it, and I am having a ball making QRP contacts.

On Sunday night at 2AM of Monday morn. I made SSB 2W contacts with Texas
and Utah on 40m. And at 10pm last night I checked into the 1721 Round Table
Club net on 40m with the net ctrl station being located in NE Ohio, with
only 1.5W on the same 40m hamstick.

I am now enthusiastic with both the contacts I have made and wanting to make
more QRPp contacts and also have gotten back into a mood for doing my school
work.
