I think Wayne answered a similar question some time back. You should not =
do this mod if you run SSB or the KPA100.

The K2 manual mentions a PA efficiency mod to T4 on page 100 that will =20
improve (reduce) current drain 25-30% at 5 watts.

- Will the K2 still put out 10-15 watts max power with the mod?
- If not, how much will it put out and will it be enough to drive the =20
KPA100?

I plan to build the K2/KSB2/KAT2/KBT2/KIO2 as one unit and the =20
KPA100/KAT100 in an EC2.  Mobile and efficient for hiking/travel with =20
extra power when needed.
