[Elecraft] K2 #2888 UP AND RUNNING

Hi gang:

While trying to decide what to do with the extra K2 top, complete with KAT2 
and KIO2, now that a KPA100 is on top of my K2 #920, I decided to take the 
plunge and build another K2 and put that lid on it. Sorta like the Captain 
of the ship said to the Repair Superintendent when he brought his ship in 
for repairs..."Jack up the whistle and build a new ship under it." Anyway, 
K2 #2888 showed up last week and this morning it is a complete and 
operating unit. K2 #2888 is gonna stay a basic, low power, CW only unit 
with KNB and KAF. If you work me in CWSS in a few weekends, you'll hear it 
in action.

I'm not terribly proud of this one. I made, and fortunately recovered from, 
several stupid mistakes. I did a better job building #920 over 2 years ago. 
However, 2888 works just like a good K2 should... which is to say, "Really 
Well!"
