[Elecraft] K2 Align + Test, Part 1

Have started building K2 #2757 and have progressed to this point. In
going thru the steps in Align and Test part 1, it passes the "smoke"
test and all others except Audio Amplifier and Tone Generator Test... I
have absolutely no side tone when I go the St L and attempt to activate
the sidetone. Zero zilch. I have gone over the control board and
verified component placement and solder joints. I have installed the
sidetone mods of WJ4P but all else is stock. I'm not sure the appendix E
trouble shooting apply this early in the construction of the unit. I
have the latest firmware and made sure that the side tone source is
u6-25. Which has 2.8 v dc on it at St L 50. Power supply is plenty
adequate with 30a capacity.

Need some thoughts on tracking this down on or off the list.

I was really having a ball till this....
