[Elecraft] k2 on jersey isl

hi all for the first 4 days the bands where poor only worked 272 qso's
so on the 9th i added the kpa100 unit and becouse i had no atu i
used only 40m up to ten my ants been monoband whip ants mounted on the top of 
my car basicly a mobile station but sineing poratable on the air the k2 was 
outstanding with 100w from the 9th to the last day (12th) i had
just over 1,000 qsos on the last day i was non stop for 7&1/2 hrs with 473 
qsos
90 qso from japan on 15m calls

the pile ups the only fult i found on my k2 when i take off the loc swich my 
k2 
jumps up a little in frq 1.odd kc/s but not each time i use the switch my k2 
is on 2.02f anyone come across this ? i allso had very good audio reports
with my k2 just to let you know i had a good trip chris g0wfh
