IF both VFOs are on the SAME frequency (hit A=B) you should NOT see any
change in what you hear or what you see on the S-meter whatsoever when
hitting REV to switch between them.

Try tuning one VFO to a completely different frequency (put one VFO
where there is no signal and tune in a signal with the other VFO) and
then see what happens when you hit REV. You should hear the signal
disappear and only band noise appear as the K2 switches from one VFO
frequency to the other. If the S-meter stays at the level of the signal
while you are listening to only band noise, something is wrong. The
S-meter should follow what you hear. Of course, the S-meter won't go to
zero on the no-signal frequency if there is any significant band noise.
It will register the band noise being heard.

Can't help with the mic buttons here...

=========================

I have just discovered the VFO REV switch on my K2. ...
REV works very well , but I noticed that the S meter reading is odd. If
I hold REV from say vfo A to vfo B the S meter remains reading the
signal of vfo A. Same thing in reverse.

Actually it seems to freeze the reading as at the point in time that I
press the REV button . Also only those bar segments which were fully on
at the time are lit ie the highest segment is ignored if it was
flickering at the point I press REV.

Is this normal ? I don't understand why this should happen (whether
it's normal or not). Not a big deal but a little odd....
