[Elecraft] SSB Distances

My father, WB2EWU (Kennedy, NY) and I (Lynn Haven, FL) had a contact on SSB,
7 Oct 01 on 15 Meters K2 to K2 using the minimum power 100mw (K2 turned down
as far as it would go) Distance as the crow flies is 899 miles, so that
makes it nearly 9,000 miles to the watt!  We were excited to say the least,
the signals were about 56/58 for over 30 minutes, so we could have went
lower!  Both of us are just running simple dipoles.  The MOJO was working
overtime that day...
