It seems to me that if 8R HOLD is always enabled, you can set thr T-R
delay to zero when you want to use QSK.  This would be the same as if 8R
HOLD was off.

So, if the T-R delay is set to zero, there's really no reason to turn 8R
HOLD off, is there?
