Kevin,

Hang in there bud and don't be afraid to just give me a call.  I about
fell out of my chair today.  There had been a slight lull in activity when
all of the sudden the radio sparked to life and all of the sudden, I heard
MY callsign coming from the speaker.  I though, "Hey!  That joker is using
my callsign" until I realized that he was actually calling me.

I worked N5IB this evening.  We started at 10w and went all the way down
to 2.5 two-way and with the benefit of my DSP speaker, I could pull him
out of the noise even when he was 1watt.  Not straining to pull him out -
he was plain as day with the DSP and not to be heard without it.

I use the "ClearSpeach" DSP speaker on the K2 and combined with the
outstanding RX performance of the K2, it will yank a signal out of
nowhere!

I'll be monitoring again tomorrow as time permits and I'm sure there will
be lots of other folks on as well.  I have to make a trip to the post
office to mail off my Elecraft WAS application and then I have a lunch
meeting with a client so, it will be in the afternoon when I'm on most
likely.
