[Elecraft] Faster AGC on K2?

Greetings all,
I noticed last year during the CQWW from 6Y9A that my ears were getting
blasted sometimes by big signals that would come roaring through the
pileups.  I'm wondering if anybody has played with changing the AGC time
constants.  I don't want to mess up the K2's wonderful dynamic range and
"depth" that lets us pull signals out of the pileup but I'd like to clamp
those loud signals some.  I'm thinking about changing C4 on the control
board in the AGC circuit to about 0.1uF or so.  I might also change C1 to
0.47 to have a FAST-FAST and a FAST AGC.  Anybody have any thoughts on this?
