Never thought of using those things that way! As these have different
specific uses in surgery, they come in all shapes and sizes with different
jaw lengths, shapes (straight or curved) and tooth patterns. The cheapest
are from Pakistan and the best from Germany (better stainless steel); origin
is usually etched on the instrument somewhere.
Because middle sizes are commonly used by fly fisherman as fish hook
removers, one place to find them is your local fly fishing shop. (Another
excellent, expensive but competing addiction)
