Wouldn't you know it?  This just happens to be close in frequency to
where I have strong noise levels.  The noise peaks at about 18.1325 and
is approx 4KHz wide.  Move down to 18.130 or up to 18.135 and it's nice
and quiet.  SO far I haven't been able to locate the source to kill it. 
It's not pulse noise so the KNB2 has no effect on it.  But, if your
signal is strong enough I can probably work you.  Just now, 2220Z, there
were a couple of strong tuner uppers there.
