Hi

I think you have R10 in the K2 confused with R10 in the KPA100. Rolf was =
working on the KPA100 when R10 smoked. I would look for a diode in backwa=
rds (D1-D8), a bad Q8 or T3 shorted or installed wrong. T3 is a bifilar w=
ound toroid and it is easy to strip the twisted wires too far allowing th=
em to short. Also check that U4 is installed correctly and look for solde=
r bridges around U4 and the HV supply.

If R-10 is cooked, don't you think you should research the area around
T-5 instead of T-3? =20

1. drinking one glass of french red wine
2. going to bed and next day:
3. looking at the area around T3 (because R10 has become black)
does anybody have any specific suggestions?
(Steps 1 & 2 will be performed in any case, hi)=3D20
