If ya want a real serious $ gap, compare the K2 to a Harris 570 !

The basic K2 is way less than $599 but it's $1582 with the 100W amp,
tuner, and all the options that would put it in a class similar to an
IC756PRO. The PRO is going for $1899 and there are no extra filters
for it. We're really comparing a rig that sells for $1600 to one that
sells for $1900.
