Remember, I'm trying to get this to work on 80 and 160 meters.  Wouldn't
a 75' wire have a very low radiation resistance and high capacitive
reactance on 160?

Right you are, Vic! Assuming that wire is 1/4 wavelength on 80, it will
have a radiation resistance of about 7 ohms. On 160 the radiation
resistance will be about 1.5 ohms. And very capacitive in both
situations, of course.
