I also had a bash in CQWW with my K2 in the QRP section - in fact I 
operated for around 32 hours, so I guess it counts as reasonably 
serious. Summary results below.

636 QSOs in 76 countries. I worked a reasonable number of the 
dxpeditions, but failed to crack some of the pileups, certainly it is 
a QRO contest these days. But quite pleased with the results. There 
were no all band QRP entries from G last year so it is not possible 
to compare, but my 253,006 points looks good.

Conditions were mixed. There was talk of solar during the weekend, so 
perhaps they were down on normal, but there were good openings on 10m 
to the USA. The worst time seemed to be in the early evening (1900z) 
after the hf bands had closed and the lf bands had not really opened. 
On Sunday evening the only stations left on 20m were weak USA 
stations, and I managed to work a great string of them who all seemed 
to copy the QRP OK.
