[Elecraft] Dreaming...a challenge for the Elecraft team

After having put my MP aside after arrival of a second-hand K2/100, it was with
some regret that I put the MP back on-line for this weekend's CQ WW CW
contest.
Although it was nice to have knobs to tweak on the receiver, in the short time
I've used the K2 I've found it is simply what a radio should be. No
zippity-do-dahs,
whizbang bells & whistles, or the like. It is what a radio should be & reminds
me of the sort of performance-for-what-it-is radios like the TS-820 & TS-830.
Add a sub-receiver to a K3 & keep with the philosophy that it's a radio & not
a box of gadgets that happens to include a transceiver (which is what the JA
domestic market has driven Yaecomwood towards), then there would be nothing
but K3s at VR2BG.
K2VCO's idea about a KPA1000 is also very interesting...
