Since I wrote the initial note to the reflector earlier today asking 
for help, my K2MCU has failed completely with no display, no audio, no 
anything. This was verified as when I installed an older MCU version, 
the rig came back to life.

This is a good thing. Well, sort of anyway, as I stated earlier I 
suspected the MCU was problematic.

I have ordered a new K2 MCU and hopefully that will resolve my sidetone 
and hopefully recognize the PA PS so I can continue and finish the 
KPA100.
