I think the K3 exists mainly in the dreams of all unsated kit builders. It
would cover all bands from 160m to 23cm, operate all modes, built in
everything (autotuner, keyer, spectrum analyzer, every type filter, if
phaser, notch filter, etc, etc, known to exist) and general coverage
reciever to boot...and of course it would excel in every catagory. And lets
not forget, it should be "affordable".
To be realistic, it can't be done....but I wouldn't bet money that Elecraft
won't try.
