[Elecraft] Re: OT - Toroids for Stereo RFI?

Greetings:
	Thanks for the responses. I got the idea from Figure 7.11 at
<http://www.arrl.org/tis/info/HTML/catvi/index.html>. The toroids are large
enough that connectors will pass through but they aren't identified as far
as I can find. What is their likely id (size and mix) and source? I picked
up 273-104's from Radio Shack because they were readily at hand but based on
the plot on the instruction sheet it looks like a lot of windings are needed
for not much attenuation. I have a commercial RFI kit but beads haven't
helped much and as the toroids in the kit are small they won't work for the
bigger cables and the connectors on the smaller cables will have to be
removed to get any wraps.

	dk3uz, thanks for the suggestion of the ferrite rods. Are all pretty much
the same?
