[Elecraft] KSB2 Mod

Hi Gang,

  Still getting ready to build the KSB2 SSB add-on and I have a question.

 I went to the Elecraft web site and read about a Mod that was posted to
help improve IMD when operating PSK31.  I thought I read also that the
KSB2's shipped after September 2001 included this mod.  Can someone verify
this for me.  The mod is pretty simple -- one capacitor and about three or
so resistors are exchanged -- so I thought it would make sense to
incorporate this mod while building the KSB2.  However, I don't see any
resistors or caps of the replacement value on the parts list though. If
anyone can set me straight I'd appreciate it.

Unrelated to the IMD mod, one of the guys suggested that I buy the 14
matched crystals and use 7 of them in the KSB2 and then I can always go back
and replace the 7 in the K2 at a later time.  I think that makes sense and
I'll probably do that  (although planning ahead is not usually something I'm
known for --hi).
