[Elecraft] K2 #3014 BFO Range

Fellow K2 Enthusiasts:

I am having a lot of fun building K2 #3014, but have hit a snag with the 
BFO range test on page 59: The BFO high frequency seems OK at 4916.73 kHz 
(VBFO = 8V), but the low BFO frequency of 4913.35 kHz (VBFO = 0V) gives a 
range of only 3.38 kHz, not the minimum 3.6 kHz. I have verified that D37, 
D38, X3, X4, C173, C174, and C169 are the correct components. DC voltages 
in the BFO, BFO buffer, and product detector circuits seem reasonable.

Have others had this same difficulty? What should I try to correct this?
